Adjustable-angle fan blades allow the pitch to be set at assembly or trimmed later, so one impeller family can cover several duty points. UTEK-DELE supplies them in the W, S, K and P Series from 180 mm to 2200 mm on Z and W hubs.
Adjustable-angle blades carry a separate blade root that is clamped to the hub, so the pitch can be set when the fan is built and changed later if the duty point moves. That flexibility is what allows one hub family to serve several machine platforms: the same impeller can be trimmed for airflow in one application and for static pressure in another.
The adjustable range at UTEK-DELE runs from the 180-745 mm class up to 2200 mm. Medium duties use the Z hub family with the P, S, K and 7Z series, while large industrial units use the W hub family from 560 mm to 2200 mm. Blade material is selected from the working temperature and atmosphere, with PAG as the standard heavy-load option, PAGAS for conductive duties and ALU for high-temperature zones.

The conductive PAGAS option is supplied for equipment working in explosive-risk atmospheres such as dust or gas. It addresses the working environment of the blade; machine-level certification remains the responsibility of the equipment builder.
Blades are supplied with matched hub sets. The hub carries the blade loads and sets the shaft interface, so it is selected together with the blade count:

When a fan is being specified or replaced, the following points are confirmed before a blade set is released. They are the same checks used for OEM programs and for retrofit projects.
Duty point: airflow and static pressure required at the working speed, taken from the cooling pack or ventilation requirement
Installation: available diameter, shroud clearance, mounting pattern and the shaft interface of the existing hub
Environment: maximum air temperature, dust or gas atmosphere, and whether static discharge has to be avoided
Drive: available power, belt or direct drive, and whether the fan has to reverse in service
Service: blade weight for handling during maintenance and spare-part availability across the machine fleet
Blade count, profile and material are then matched to those conditions in a fixed order: material first, then blade count, then hub family, with diameter confirmed against the shroud. Working in that sequence keeps the mechanical interface stable when the duty requirement changes later in the project, and it is why the same blade family can often stay in production while the cooling pack is revised.
Blades and hubs are supplied as a matched set and balanced on a hand laser balancing machine before shipment, with the pitch setting recorded for the duty point. The adjustable blade-angle concept is covered by a granted Chinese utility model patent (CN 212250568 U) held by the company's manufacturing entity.
Blade count, blade profile, hub family and material can be customized for OEM programs, and existing fans can be reviewed when airflow, noise or durability has to be improved on a running machine. Where no pitch change is expected over the life of the machine, a fixed-angle blade gives the same airflow with fewer parts and a simpler service procedure.
